The African Development Group - Columbia University, hereafter referred to as ADG, was established with a mission to reverse brain drain by promoting a deeper engagement of the African Diaspora in African development through research, initiative, and service. We aim to achieve this through the bedrock of our three pillars – Research & Analysis, Forums, and Engagement. We are committed to serving the African continent, and we believe that effective contribution from the educated, passionate and ambitious intellectuals in the diaspora and within Africa, would bring the change and progress that we seek. The ADG is prepared to take on this new challenge; advancing the spirit of responsibility and intellectual curiosity on the topic of African development in our community.
