The purpose for which Alianza as a pan-Latinx organization is formed is herein stated: Our mission as Alianza is to create a stronger Latinx community beyond the boundaries Columbia University. We are a pan-Latinx student organization, and we strive to create a space for underrepresented members of the Latinx community that allows for the celebration and education of our different cultures. We do so in an effort to promote understanding among the Latinx community and our allies through intercultural dialogue, social and cultural events, and community outreach services.
