Columbia Repertory Ballet was created to give dancers at Columbia opportunities to learn andperform repertoire (existing works) from the classical ballet canon as well as from contemporary ballets in aprofessional rehearsal setting. Our dancers range from pre-professional dancers (seriously trained dancersthroughout high school) to current and retired professional ballet dancers. Columbia University attracts somany talented ballet dancers and we wanted to give our members the ability to keep their dancing passionsalive in addition to their diverse academic pursuits.
