The purpose of the Columbia Art of Living (CAL) is to create a stress free, energetic and joyful campus community ready to face the challenges of academic life and beyond. The organization will conduct regular yoga/meditation sessions for students/faculty/staff of Columbia University and affiliated institutions. The aim is to bring more focus, greater clarity of mind and over well-being. In addition, the group will hold leadership and stress-management workshops taught by trained Art of Living instructors. The organization also aims to foster community change through emphasizing social responsibility and inspiring individuals to give back to the community
