The purpose of American Red Cross at Columbia University to is provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies both locally and abroad. Guided by the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movements-Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality-Columbia University students will work alongside American Red Cross of the Greater New York Area and other partnerships to improve the lives of others through the creativity, skill, and passion of their volunteering members.
