Spiritual & Religious
Sewa is a social justice and community service organization based upon the Sikh value of sewa (selfless service). We host a number of events throughout the year that seek to challenge and address injustices and social issues affecting historically marginalized communities. In all of our events, meetings, and bondings we hope to promote the idea of sewa by working in partnership with NYC and other campus-based organizations to encourage work rooted in serving others.
Though our work is based in Sikhi, Sewa is a space that has welcomed and will continue to welcome students of all backgrounds.
