The Latinx Professional and Education Network (LPEN), formerly known as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, is a part of the 32 Hispanic Scholarship FundScholar Chapters across the nation. LPEN is the nation's leading Hispanic scholarship organization, providing the Hispanic community more college scholarships and outreach support than any other organization in the country. The Latinx Professional Education Network’s mission is to strengthen America by advancing the college education of Hispanic Americans. LPEN will achieve this mission by increasing the rate of Hispanics earning a college degree. In addition to our professional development efforts at Columbia, we participate in community outreach through tutoring and and mentoring of high schools students from local high schools in NYC. If you are interested in professional development and or tutoring/mentoring high school students please join our organization. You do not have to be Latinx to be a part of our community!
