Adult Learners at Penn State is a student organization that seeks to support and enhance the educational and developmental experiences of the adult learner. In addition, a variety of programs, discussions, and social activities are offered in an effort to facilitate a sense of belonging and ease the integration of adult learners in campus life. The club shall conduct fundraising activities to support its efforts.
Adult students are defined as any person enrolled as a student at Penn State University who meets at least one of the following:
24 years of age or older, or
A veteran of the armed forces or active-duty military, or
Returning to school after four or more years of employment, homemaking, or other activity, or
A person who assumes multiple roles such as a parent, spouse/partner, employee, and student.
