Letters of Love Global is an organization started by a young girl from Minnesota named Grace Berbig. Grace says, "Lots of people ask what inspired me to start Letters of Love. My answer, in short, is my mom. When I was ten my mom lost her battle to cancer. I have been on a mission to create a kinder world and support patients ever since. She is, and forever will be, to thank for every accomplishment Letters of Love has made and will continue making." (quote from www.lettersoflove.com) Letters of Love has grown tremendously over the years, now represented in 17 countries with 270+ clubs and donating over 250,000 cards to children in hospitals. Penn State's passion for fighting the battle against childhood cancer makes it the perfect space for a club like this. There are far too many children suffering from terminal illnesses and we are here to make sure they know they aren't doing it alone. We want them to know they have the support of the entire Penn State student body.
