The Minority Association of Pre-Medical/Health Students is a national organization affiliated to the Student National Medical Association. As a national organization that has numerous chapters across America, the purpose is to increase the number of underrepresented students entering and completing health professional education.
Through efforts from the national, regional, and Penn State chapter we hope to follow the steps to
Aid in the implementation of workforce diversity
Reduce and eliminate health disparities through education
Increase the number of minorities entering health professional schools
Support people of color as they proceed in their pre-medical/health journey here at Penn State
