Community Service & Volunteering
Alzheimer’s Buddies is a national student organization that responds to the isolation and social disengagement experienced by people in the intermediate to late stages of Alzheimer’s Disease. Through the course of weekly, one-on-one visits, our undergraduate volunteers provide companionship to dementia residents, break down communication barriers, and build bridges between families and their loved ones.
