The Nittany Divers was founded to promote and to encourage SCUBA diving in a safe and sensible manner. We serve to encourage and to promote the underwater world, including oceanography, marine biology, and archeology, to provide a common meeting ground for all those interested in any phase of SCUBA diving. Furthermore, we hold the responsibility of assuming the sponsorship of social events among persons interested in SCUBA diving, such as guest speakers, social gatherings, and SCUBA interest trips through Outdoor Adventures.
