Project 26 is a non-partisan, youth-led organization focused on registering students to vote. Our mission is to promote and expand democracy in Pennsylvania by elevating youth leadership to get organized, vote in key elections, and exercise our power to take control of our lives through civic engagement.In 1972, the 26th Amendment was ratified, lowering the voting age to 18 in all 50 states. Weexist to deliver on the promise of the 26th Amendment – to protect and expand democracy byelevating youth leadership across the state. We empower thousands of college students to takecontrol of their futures, get organized, and vote in Pennsylvania’s crucial elections.
