The Penn State Sign Language Organization (SLO) is dedicated to spreading deaf awareness to the State College and University Park community. This club provides its members with practice in the art of sign language and instruction on Deaf culture. Students of all levels of experience, including new signers, are encouraged to come. Learning is facilitated through meetings, outreach into the community and involvement with other organizations on campus. SLO is also recently involved with THON over the past few years and has had the privilege to perform on stage at the past ten.
