Community Service & Volunteering
Trilogy is a Special Interest Organization at Penn State whose sole purpose is to support THON and our Four Diamonds Families. Throughout the year, Special Interest Organizations contribute to the efforts of thousands of Penn State students by facilitating fundraisers and providing emotional support to our families.
Trilogy is lucky to have been paired with three incredible THON children: Janae, Cameron, and Willow.
We have had the privilege of being able to watch Janae grow up, as she has been our THON child for over ten years! It has been so rewarding to see Janae become a mother to her adorable daughter, Avalyn, in addition to watching her get engaged at a "Tangled" themed lantern festival, one of her favorite movies, to her incredible fiancé Mason.
Cameron has been apart of our THON family for four years, and this past year was able to attend his very first THON! Cameron has been in remission for two years and enjoys playing with the guys, spraying our THON section with water guns, video games, and Scooby-Doo. We are looking forward to making THON 2024 even more fun with Cameron and his family.
Willow, our most recent THON child, is six years old and full of life! Willow was diagnosed in December 2021 and has been in active treatment since then; she's our warrior! Willow's favorite things are tacos, crafting, horseback riding, hanging out with her awesome big sister, Brielle, and her favorite colors: blue and rainbow, of course! Willow and Brielle are the unofficial Bubble-Masters of THON and we can't wait to see what is in store for February 2024.
Trilogy is paired with Phi Sigma Kappa for THON. Together, we host fundraisers and events for our families and members. We love to spend time with each other and our families through fun events such as pumpkin painting, cookouts, the THON 5k, Christmas cookie baking, and of course THON weekend!
