Alpha Zeta is a national honors professional fraternity dedicated to students and industry professionals in the fields of agriculture and natural resources. Founded in 1908, Purdue Agriculture's chapter has historically been represented by top-achieving students in the college. Alpha Zeta stands as the College of Agriculture's Honor Society, celebrating student success through its core pillars of excellence: leadership, scholarship, integrity, and community.Recently revitalized in the spring of 2024, the chapter continues to provide its members with opportunities for professional development, community service, and leadership training. Each fall, the Office of Academic Programs extends invitations to students who meet specific academic criteria, with initiation ceremonies held in the spring.Invitations are sent out to students who've met the following requirements:3.75 GPAUndergraduate studentEarned 45 credits towards a degree within the College of Agriculture Upon receiving an invitation and participating in the initiation process, members will be assigned to one of the following committees:ScholarshipLeadershipCommunity
