Academic
Our organization has three major focuses. One is to have fun with chemistry and build relationships with other chemistry students with demo shows, hands-on experiments, and social events. Second, we organize and participate in many volunteer outreach activities such as visits to schools, the state fair, Springfest, Science Olympiad, and science nights. The final component of our club involves connecting chemistry students with faculty members, industry, and professional development resources. We invite professors and students to present about their research and experiences. Representatives from industry also come to talk about opportunities in chemistry and advice for success.
