The Aviation History Club of Purdue strives to foster a community of aviation enthusiasts interested in enjoying and preserving the history of aviation around us in as many ways as possible. The club will plan events, have speakers, and organize other student-run activities such as presentations on aviation history. Whenever possible, the organization can assist in preserving local aviation history, such as finding a home for artifacts and recording interviews of those significantly involved with aviation. The following list, while not exhaustive, gives an impression of the interests of this club:Going on trips to aviation museumsBringing in speakers from the industry to talk about their experiencePresentations about historical events or planes created by membersScreenings of classic aviation movies and documentariesCollaborations with other clubs to achieve any of the aboveAnything else future members think would fit this theme
