Baile Folklorico Club (BFC) is a cultural organization at Purdue University that seeks to honor and teach about traditional Latin American dances while creating a welcoming space and community. We try to focus on different regions and dance styles every semester! Non-active members can attend events where we discuss the history and culture behind folklorico dances. Active members, in addition, regularly practice choreographed dances, leading up to events and an annual spring showcase. They can sign up for as many or as few dances as they'd like. No prior dance experience is required, and no Spanish is necessary! Attire is provided, and non-Latin people are welcome! We welcome grad students as well!
