The purpose of the Club is to promote Firearm Safety and Team Building. The Trap & Skeet Team at UC Davis will be shooting off campus competitively across the United States of America against other colleges, such as Yale University, Harvard University, Duke University, Lindenwood University, Arizona State University, University of Nevada-Reno, Fresno State University, and much more when we are advanced with our Firearms skills. UC Davis Students will have the opportunity to learn more about the basics and standards of Trapshooting, Skeet, and 5 Stand. We will be creating an environment for UC Students to connect with one another and learn how to work as a team. The students will learn different styles of shooting during the training sessions. The main focus for the team is Trapshooting because it covers the basic movements and regiments of shooting a shotgun.
