Make friends, then beat them up! At Boiler Blade, we host and run a full contact, free to play, medieval combat sport. Battle games occur on campus at Krach lawn every Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. We play games such as capture the flag, team deathmatch, and more!We use foam weapons, such as swords, shields, spears, bows, and axes. For new fighters, we have loaner weapons available for use. We host build sessions for those interested in having their own customized weapons. We also have training sessions for those who want to get better.Our rule sets are based on the foam combat sports Dagorhir and Belegarth. We also participate in outside events in the foam fighting community such as Oktoberfest, War, Wolfpack Opener, and more. It's great for bonding, teambuilding, and practice against those outside of our field. On occasion we also host semesterly tournaments with prizes!So come and join Boiler Blade!
