Boiler Tracks
International & Multicultural
The mission of Boiler Tracks is to create leadership opportunities for undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds, engage current and prospective students in the admissions recruitment process, and increase Purdue’s presence in local communities. This is accomplished in partnership with the Office of Admissions and the Office of the Dean of Students.  Boiler Tracks is the feeder program to two different ambassador groups: Boiler Tracks Ambassadors and R.E.A.C.H Ambassadors.  Boiler Tracks Ambassadors seek students who have a passion for helping prospective new beginner and transfer students find their path to Purdue. Ambassadors serve a unique role in working to help Purdue become diverse and inclusive by providing communications and programs targeted to prospective students that highlight areas of diversity on campus. Boiler Tracks Ambassadors will participate in Purdue Diversity Days, Call Campaigns, postcard writings, special group visits, Real Talk Diversity Chats, student panels, and various marketing opportunities in the Office of Admissions and Purdue Marketing and Communications.  R.E.A.C.H Ambassadors (Reaching Every Applicant with Care and Helpfulness) are a group of students that graduated from selected high schools in Indiana. They are charged with visiting their own high schools over Fall and Spring break. Both ambassador programs are paid positions. You must start off as an active member of Boiler Tracks before applying to one of the ambassador positions.
