Contact Improvisation is a partner dance form based on the physical principles of touch, momentum, shared weight, and most quintessentially - following a shared point of contact. It does not require any previous dance/acro/martial arts experience, but all from these fields and other walks of life are welcome! This is a form of movement that allows you to have fun and get a good workout.The Purdue Contact Improv club meets regularly, approximately twice a month on either Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons. We also hold our annual Contact Improvisation Gathering [CIG] every spring, watch for dates coming up soon.
