The Creative Writing Club of Purdue exists to provide writers of any level with a place and a people to help cultivate their craft. Creative writing has many faces—from novels, poetry, scriptwriting, short stories, and even songwriting, with all their genres and techniques in between—and we aim to help each other polish every interest and explore new things. We offer meetings regularly, which vary in their offerings to you. There's time during the week solely dedicated to your personal projects; an environment where you can connect and workshop with other writers, and an incentive to attain your writing-related goals. There's exploratory discussions about writing, and its different types, elements, skills, and techniques. And, of course, there's the community, looking to hear from you, help you, and learn from you in turn. Meetings:We offer two weekly meetings, Sundays and Wednesdays.Sunday meetings are 1-3pm in LILY G420, unless otherwise noted in our announcements. These are geared around sharing and improving your writing, and more.Wednesday meetings are 7-9pm in ARMS B071, unless otherwise noted in our announcements. These include community discussions on writing and more.Information will be updated on our Discord and GroupMe servers. Links:Announcements are made on our Announcements GroupMe and Discord Server. You can chat, socialize, share writing, and more in our Discord Server!Events & activities can also be tracked through our Google Calendar (ICAL | HTML), or found here on Boilerlink. We also have a website.
