Delta Pi Rho was founded on December 9th, 2004 at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana by four proud Latinos. These four Gentlemen had a new vision to empower the Latino community through four pillars: Academics, Loyalty, Leadership and Hermanos Unidos. All Delta Pi Rho brothers stand by the Four Pillars.The gentlemen of Delta Pi Rho's motto is "Encendiendo el Fuego de la Hermandad," which can be translated as "Lighting the Fire of Brotherhood." This motto exemplifies the brotherhood that the brothers of Delta Pi Rho strive for. Their mission is to promote scholarship, service and unity among brothers and other gentlemen interested in the Latino culture.
