Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) is a technical society promoting the research and practice of earthquake engineering. Professional EERI members include researchers, practicing professionals, educators, government officials, and building code regulators. EERI is a global leader in the dissemination of earthquake risk information and earthquake engineering research. The EERI/PU student chapter was established to extend the mission of EERI to the Purdue campus and to encourage involvement from students interested in earthquake engineering. EERI/PU not only endeavors to engage students in earthquake engineering, but also provide context for earthquake engineering research and education and afford students networking opportunities with earthquake engineering professionals.
