Food Science Club is a student organization focused on learning about the many areas of the food industry. This club places special emphasis on the areas of food chemistry, processing, microbiology, fermentation, and trends. Throughout the year the club will hold events and meetings to immerse its members in the food industry. Some events include industry plant tours, speakers, and networking sessions. The club will also take part in the College of Ag events like Springfest and AG week. Other events for the club include cookouts, Halloween Pumpkin carving, and making your own butter. Additionally, we are also part of the Purdue Chapter of the Institute of Food Technologist Student Association (IFTSA).
