The main purpose of Furdue is to connect students, who appreciate or are involved in this community while otherwise having a space for those who wish to become involved. It also serves to create a place for artistic expression among LGBTQ+ people, which has always been a key role of the furry fandom in online spaces. This organization will serve as a safe environment for the formation of these connections and as a place to hold activities related to the furry fandom. Furdue prides itself as a place where all are welcome, and functions as a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals. We hold inclusivity, diversity, and creativity as our core values, and all organizational activities are created with these values in mind.
