Human Development and Family Science Graduate Student Association
Academic
The mission of the Department of Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) Graduate Student Association (GSA) is to foster a vibrant community among HDFS graduate students, provide avenues for academic support, professional development, and social engagement. Through collaboration and advocacy, we aim to enhance the overall graduate experience and promote the well-being of our members. We strives to foster community between graduate students in the HDFS department through organization of social, cultural, academic, and professional activities. This association will also serve as an informational source for HDFS graduate students on departmental, college, and university activities. The HDFS GSA aims to maintain awareness of issues of concern to HDFS graduate students and, whenever possible, advocate for and act upon such issues to improve living and working conditions of HDFS graduate students. The HDFS GSA also facilitates communication between the HDFS graduate student committee and HDFS graduate students.
