Political & Advocacy
The IHI Open School community is comprised of an international network of 800+ chapters. As a university based, student led IHI Open School chapter, we strive to advance student knowledgeability related to healthcare improvement and patient safety issues. Our chapter works to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration among future healthcare professionals as well as develop projects and programs to improve our healthcare system at a regional level. We actively engage students in the discussions surrounding current issues in healthcare. Finally, our chapter’s number one goal is to help form students to become resilient leaders and effective change agents in their future careers. We welcome all students, both graduate and undergraduate, who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.
