Kappa Kappa Gamma was founded on October 13, 1870 at Monmouth College. The Gamma Delta chapter at Purdue University was chartered on January 24, 1919, and it is one of 135 Kappa chapters in both the United States and Canada. Today, there are over 225,000 initiated members of Kappa Kappa Gamma, making it one of the largest and most prestigious Greek organizations.
