With over 135 years of history, the Chi Chapter of Kappa Sigma continues to set the standard for all fraternities at Purdue by producing men of the highest caliber. Every member of Kappa Sigma shares a common goal of excellence based on our four pillars: Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. As a social fraternity, Kappa Sigma will provide you with invaluable social experiences and a brotherhood unlike any other. Through social events, brotherhood excursions, intramural sports and much more, joining Kappa Sigma will allow you to build relationships that will last a lifetime. We are proud of the diversity of our brotherhood, with members coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. Every Kappa Sigma brother is given the resources necessary to become an excellent leader. Whether that is within the house, on campus, or in the community, every member is encouraged to step up into leadership positions. Our alumni have gone on to work as leaders within a number of notable companies including Amazon, SpaceX, and PepsiCo, as well as within the Purdue University faculty. With a variety of majors within the house, the fraternity offers a strong academic support network. We offer multiple resources to help you obtain the best grades possible, including a spacious study room, study hours, class resources, and more. Many of our members go on to obtain prestigious internships and jobs after their time at Purdue. Our alumni are always willing to help connect you to the right people and further your career in any way possible. Each year, we conduct numerous community service and philanthropy projects to give back to the community. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, our chapter was able to raise thousands of dollars and complete an average of 40 community service hours per brother. Our primary philanthropy cause is Military Heroes, a nationwide Kappa Sigma initiative to give back to veterans who have bravely served in our armed forces.Perfectly equidistant from both Chauncey Village and the heart of Purdue’s campus, the Chapter house serves as a social and educational facility that brothers can call home. With a theatre room, a chef-serviced kitchen, two decks, and a well-equipped study room, 308 North Street gives its 75 occupants a feeling of belonging and support on their journey to success. So why should you join Kappa Sigma at Purdue? For me, every time I walk through the front door into the Chapter house, I feel the opportunity for growth, both as an individual and as a Kappa Sigma Chapter. By containing a wealth of different personas and majors, Chi provides you with all the help and support you need to succeed at Purdue. The brotherhood of Chi Chapter is simply unmatched and is something I am extremely grateful to be a part of. Now it is your turn. Please reach out to us today to stay updated on rush information for the upcoming semester!Boiler Up!Kevin BoesPresident
