The Professional Writers Association at Purdue University is the official club for students and alumni of the Professional Writing Program. However, we are open to all students regardless of major, who are interested in writing for professional settings or who simply want to improve their work! The purpose of the PWA is to connect students with professionals in the field as well as help students develop and refine their skills so that they can be competitive in the industry. We strive to promote, advance and encourage students in the development of writing and to facilitate a community within the program. As ambassadors of the Professional Writing Program, we hope to connect to incoming students and promote the program.
