Purdue Anthropology Society (PAST) offers anthropology majors and others the opportunities to develop professionally and network within the Purdue community. The club is a dynamic social and intellectual venue for anthropological discourse and career development. Meetings, which are usually held every other week, are a way to touch base and plan events, while other events include a variety of workshops intended to connect students to opportunities such as research, field schools, or preparation for grad school, and other professional development sessions that focus on the value of an anthropology degree. Other activities include discussing anthropology course material, watching short films, listening to guest speakers, and other social events to connect students with faculty and peers.
