Purdue Arab Society (formerly known as the Organization of Arab Students) was established at Purdue in January 1986.Purdue Arab Society aims to enrich the campus with the Arab culture through events and activities, foster a sense of unity for Arab students, promote closer ties within Arab students and with the community, establish a network by which non-Arab students could communicate with Arab students for educational and cultural enrichment, keep an honest, positive representation of the Arabic culture and countries. The Purdue Arab Society is solely a social and cultural organization; therefore, will take no political stance on any matter and will not support any political activities on the Purdue campus. No member of this organization shall be allowed to take any political action in the name of Purdue Arab Society.
