The Purdue Association of Learning Design and Technology, or PALDT, serves mainly the graduate students enrolled in the Master's or doctoral program of Learning Design and Technology. This association offers the graduate students opportunities to collaborate with local or global institutions, organizations and communities, through the following efforts: Collaborative Research that brings together departments, schools, and universities, in order to expand the knowledge base. Professional Development that offers unique opportunities and initiatives for graduate student members toward helping them achieve excellence in research, teaching, service, leadership, team work, and a various career-focused skills. Engagement through hosting or participating in research and development projects, professional organizations (i.e., AERA, AECT, ASTD, ICE, and ISPI), and industry partnerships.
