Sports
Purdue's Men's Club Basketball is a competitive team made up of non-varsity athletes at Purdue that competes as part of the National Club Basketball Association. Unlike other clubs at Purdue, this is a selective organization—meaning that one must tryout to make the team. With only five guys allowed to be on the court at one time, and the complicated logistics of organizing travel to and from our games, we aren't able to accommodate everyone who would be interested in joining the team. As aforementioned, our team is very competitive. In the six years that we have existed as a club team, we have won the vast majority of our games, earned multiple regional championships, and brought home two national championships (2017 & 2022). If interested in joining the team, keep an eye out for a tryout date on Boilerlink and our social media account (@Purdue_MCBB on Instagram). You can also reach out to our official email address Boilermakerclubbasketball@gmail.com for more information regarding the team. A brief summary of our season schedule can be found below:Our season begins with tryouts in September and concludes with the national tournament in April. We typically practice 2-3 times per week throughout the course of the season, with scheduled time off during University breaks and finals week. Our season consists of one or two tournaments, a full conference schedule, a handful of non-conference games, and finally a regional and national tournament if we qualify.
