Purdue Running Club is a group of runners who train for and compete in a variety of cross country, track, and road races. We consist of and welcome all ability levels. We range from new runners learning the ropes of the sport for the first time to the seasoned athletes who are always in pursuit of faster times. Our club meets at 4:45 pm, M-F at the east entrance of the Cordóva Rec Center (out front near Wiley dining court). From there, groups set out on a variety of different runs or workouts varying in length and pace depending on the ability level of each group and the schedule for that day. In addition to daily practices, we hold special social events, community service opportunities, and races on campus. Lastly, we participate in NIRCA and some NCAA races against other Run Clubs across the country. Participation in any of these events is completely optional! If any of this interests you, we encourage you to attend a practice and join us for a run. We look forward to seeing you soon.
