Purdue Sailing was founded in 1948 as a club sport under the recreational sports division of Purdue University. Composed of both recreational and racing, the team has something to offer from the advanced competitor to those who have never stepped foot on a boat before. The season consists of both Spring and Fall and is only limited by inclement weather or when the lake freezes over.
