Purdue Solar Racing (PSR) is a dynamic student organization dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sustainable transportation by designing, building, and racing solar-powered cars. Over the past two years, PSR has achieved remarkable success, constructing two innovative vehicles. Our latest creation, Lux, stands out as the first solar car to complete the American Solar Challenge (ASC) within a one-year build cycle, an impressive feat for a rookie team. Powered solely by solar energy, Lux traversed the United States, showcasing the potential of renewable energy. As we look to the future, our sights are set on returning in 2026, driven by a fierce determination to claim the trophy and further our mission of advancing solar technology.
