With the support of Purdue Libraries and Archives and advising from Dr. Jason Ware, our mission is to create a digital sound archive of Purdue's past and present sounds to capture and represent the complex and ever changing soundscapes of our university. We want to create something at Purdue that doesn't exist and connect people to Purdue's rapidly changing narrative in a way that many may not even think about. Documenting these changes now may seem insignificant, but as technology and the world around us changes, the sound archive will be an invaluable resource for future members of our community.
