The Green Innovation Network is an ecosystem for engineers, technologists, designers, and policy makers to connect and grow as young professionals. It's primary goals will be to prepare UC Davis students for the rapidly changing landscape on which they will need to problem solve in the workforce, in addition to cultivating a community that bridges the gap between disciplines that so often operate within silos. Its primary functions will be the following:
1. Run case studies on various agricultural and environmental technology companies and initiatives 2. Run prototyping workshops to give students a hands-on experience creating product from scratch 3. Teach students analytical frameworks and equip them with a problem-solving process
4. Coordinate guest lectures
5. Connect students with industry specialists and research opportunities 6. Social events
