The Purdue Chapter of the Student National Art Education Association is a professional education organization for art education majors. The PSNAEA is committed to preparing students for the pofession of art education. The purposes for PSNAEA are:To provide a smooth transition from art teaching preparation program to professional practice.To raise and maintain the standars of art education on campus in the community.To learn more about teaching artTo sponsor service projects such as exhibits, field trips, and speakers.To promote a change of ideas in art education.To enlist future teachers from high school and promote both art education and other areas of art as a career.Our goal is to help members become outstanding art teachers and to provide quality art education to all learners.
