PCMA Purdue Chapter has been created to cultivate a community of students interested in learning more about the field of special events. These students are dedicated to actively pursuing what they are passionate about. We are to be interested participants in our discussions about our future profession and current interests. We learn from guest speakers and through our own work at Purdue on how to present, promote, and effectively put on events. Most of the work PCMA does consists of volunteering with local non-profit or Purdue University events in order to gain experience and further our knowledge of the industry. Guest speakers and specialists in the event industry will also make appearances giving demonstrations and career advice to all PCMA members.
