Purdue University Gamers Group, more commonly known as PUGG, was started in Fall 2000 to promote video gaming in general at Purdue University. Purdue University, located in West Lafayette, Indiana is one of the most well-renowned schools for engineering and technology in the world. As such, it was natural that gaming would be a staple for the student who was so adept with a computer. The purpose of PUGG is to bring those gamers together and foster a point of communication between all of them, which would culminate to the LANs that we hold throughout the year. These LANs offer a good break away from the drudgeries of campus life and give the gamer, avid or casual, a brief but sweet escape as they immerse themselves in the world of gaming.We strive to excel at what we do and that is gaming so grab your friends and come join us for our LAN parties and our ever-growing gaming community!
