Purdue Neuroscience Society provides an exciting opportunity to learn and discuss the inner workings of the brain. Whether this is learning about new neuroscience related research or increasing awareness about relevant diseases, the Purdue University Neuroscience Society (PUNS) is the place for you! Through weekly meetings students can learn and educate others on the importance of the brain and its various functions. PUNS provides networking and career building opportunities to further enhance their undergraduate experience such as participating in specific awareness weeks, volunteering to help those with Parkinson’s disease, and many more endeavors. We will have specialized committees and differing levels of involvement for members. Many activities that will occur include but are not limited to: outreach opportunities, attending workshops, research opportunities, informational presentations, raising awareness with specific awareness weeks, social events, and so much more! Communication is done primarily through our Instagram page (@purdueneurosciencesociety) and via emails from the member mailing list for weekly reminders.
