Based on the existing and growing interest in sewing and fashion design, the purpose of this organization is to create a community of students which share the same interest in the craft to learn and build skills. The organization is equally focused on teaching skills to students with little to no experience, as well as providing guidance for those more experienced. The organization focuses on the creation of wearable garments, but will also include other practices that can be applied to general textile work. The organization also provides an opportunity to present or display student works.
