SKY at Purdue is a humanitarian education student organization at Purdue University and a chapter of the SKY Campus Happiness as part of the International Association for Human Values (IAHV).SKY at Purdue is aimed at promoting happiness, wellbeing, harmony in diversity, service and leadership, creating a stress-free and violence-free, happy campus. We conduct Leadership, well-being, social & de-stress sessions on a weekly basis to manage stress from the body and the mind through fun activities, group discussion, relaxation techniques (meditation, breath-work, light stretches), insights into laws that govern the mind and community service. Our certified volunteers have led de-stress sessions for the following organizations at Purdue and the Greater Lafayette: Tree Lafayette, Otterbein Library, West Lafayette Library, YWCA (Lafayette), Central Catholic High School (Lafayette), Purdue Village Community Center, Women in Technology at Purdue, URglobal at Purdue, Purdue CoRec, PUDM, ECEGSA, Purdue Grad Student Government, Purdue Grad School, Civic Engagement & Leadership, Horizon Program, Purdue Registrar Staff meeting, Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate (AGEP),Black Cultural Center, Asian American, and Asian Resource and Cultural Center (AAARCC), Residential Halls (Hawkins, Purdue Village, Harrison, Windsor, first street towers, 3rd street suit) and weekly free mindful events on campus since 2000.We offer our flagship program, the SKY Happiness Retreat (a leadership, self-development, & well-being retreat); and service to the community through the Purdue Mental Health and Well-Being Initiative. Our goal is to help everyone live full potential of their lives, with continuous confidence, focus and enthusiasm. IAHV: http://us.iahv.org/The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) is a nonprofit, educational and humanitarian organization, in service in 17 countries on five continents. IAHV was registered as a 501(c)(3) in the United States in 2000 and holds special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
