The Purdue Student Society of Arboriculture (PSSA) is open to all students at Purdue University for the purpose of exposing members to the science, technology, education, and practice of urban forestry, arboriculture and related fields. Those involved gain hands on experience accessing tree canopies through both recreational and work climbs, learning how to properly prune and remove trees, and interacting with professionals within the industry. Members also have the chance to attend the annual Tree Care Industry Expo offered by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) to further connect with peers and professionals from around the world.
