PICR-SRF's central mission is to foster a sense of community among the graduate students and postdocs at the Purdue Institute for Cancer Research and provide opportunities for personal and professional development. To work towards this mission, our efforts are broadly divided into following categories:● Social and fun events that bring together the PICR graduate students and postdocs and provides them opportunities to directly interact with senior PICR leadership.● Workshops that provide competitive technical skills in creating publication-quality graphics, bioinformatics, imaging analysis, etc.● Career advancement opportunities, such as resume/CV editing, writing feedback, and mock interviews.● Invited talks from academia and industry.Our work is made possible through the unwavering dedication and passion of the PICR-SRF leadership team, PICR faculty, administration and volunteers.Please check our website and join the PICR-SRF email list.
